This is the reason Pat Buchanan can be seen lurking at the bottom of the pack in each election. I mean, if it is possible for an extreme right candidate who once belittled sentiments about the Holocaust, calling it a mere "detail of history", to make it to the election's final round in France then certainly Buchanan has a chance in the far more conservative US.
