I am sure that the French government had to call an emergency session to cut their losses before they suffer any more drastic cultural losses, like kisses or poodles. The official decision comes as a relief as we all thought that Congress was giving serious thought to this other, mildly interesting, issue of war. This new French bashing fad among the moronic, who seem to have united under the collective title: United States House of Representatives, keeps giving me Monty Python flashbacks … well, except for the dialogue not being near as witty. The one thing that I find truly amusing is that both Congressmen stand clad for the cameras in their fashionable neckties … fashionable, of course, since they were popularized by King Louis XIV of France in the 17th century.
