“I have no biography, and I am very glad of it.” Please don't fret that this is mere defensive modesty, I can assure you that I have contributed nothing worthwhile to humankind. Would I change that, you might ask. Certainly, without a doubt if only I had direction, but direction is a scarce resource of very questionable value and so I merely cut my losses and do what can be done without it.

I have no titles, and I am very glad of it. I once vied for the title Engineer, but walked away as soon as it seemed likely to take. Now for a portion of the day I carry some hideously long title that sounds impressive only out of context. Maybe I should have stuck with engineer, or better: student. I'm simply Kelly, and I am glad of it.
